The Kotlin/Korge client builds clean for all three; releases are gated on the campaign launch + beta-test pass. Backers at $50+ get the first beta build via email.
The browser version has the spellbook, the GPT opponent, particle effects, and the full card pipeline. No download required.
The desktop client has full-quality particle effects (380 .pex ports rendered native), spatial audio, faster page-flip animations, and a built-in offline AI opponent that doesn’t need the GPT bridge. The browser version is mechanically the same game with simpler effects + the server-side AI opponent.
Yes. Sign in with the same email + your spellbook, dust, chests, and stats all carry over. The server is the source of truth; the desktop client just talks to it.
Modest. The Korge engine targets ~2018-era hardware. Any machine that can run a browser well will run the client well.
